MOH I Giveaway
I have 2 copies of the first edition Mystery of History with the Reproducible CD to give away! All you need to do is poke around on the web site and find something you didn’t know we sold or did here at Bright Ideas Press and come back to the blog and leave a post.
Now since I am starting school on August 16, for our morning excitement, I will have the Lane kids pick a winner from the list of posts.
Can’t believe school is starting soon (yikes!)

You have so many things. I used Illuminations last year and I loved the HS literature study guides. I see you can purchase those separately this year if you want. I also didn’t know you sold some atlas books…
I have always wanted to try MOH but have been afraid. I have 2 kids ages 10 and 13. I’ve read the posts for the last Two years and looked at it at the not back to school conference I just don’t know If I could do it. Thank You,Roxanne
A Young Scholar’s Guide to Composers – I did not know that you sold that. I am new to homeschooling. I have a friend that is/has used MOH 1. I fell in love with it. But I can not afford it right know.
I didn’t know about this giveAway!! I am excited! Thanks for offering it! We’d LOVE to have the audio! I didn’t know about literature guides for hs. Thanks again!
I am new to homeschooling and am looking forward to using MOH 1. Something I didn’t notice on your site before was all the articles and workshop notes you have. Since I am still at the stage where I am reading everyone’s ideas on homeschooling, I have thoroughly enjoyed reading these articles.
I am new to MoH and haven’t even bought my book yet. I looked at a friend’s and have registered on the yahoo group- which I can tell is going to be very helpful! I am surprised to learn that you sell the Fandex Family Fun Guides. I know my boys (5 & 7) and I are going to love History this year! Thanks!
I did not know that you were still a family owned business! And I love the pictures 🙂 I have been homeschooling for 7 years now and we just love your products!! We have all of your “Christian Kids Explore Science” Books and the Mystery of History books are also favorite, we last loaned it to our pastor who was curious about the kids interest in History when most children dislike the subject. At last notice he was purchasing the set for himself!! I also did not know that you have delved into English. I downloaded your Illuminations info and will read it with interest. Thank you for all you do and keep up the good work!
I did not know you sold the Writer’s Workshop. I have quite a few of your products but never noticed that one before.
I just noticed that you are now selling literature guides. I need to look at those more. I am beginning an ancients study with my 9th, 7th, and 3rd graders.
All American History! I’ve heard the title mentioned, but haven’t had time to really track it down. It’s where we’ll be going soon, and this is my first introduction to it through your site. I’m happy about that. 🙂
I am so excited about your give away! I am new to MOH and new to you site. Love both! I am currently borrowing MOH Volume 1 from my neighbor who isn’t using it this year. I will have to give it back, oh my! We need our own copy for sure. Thanks for the opportunity!
I was interested to see the geography things you have available. I will have to spend more time looking into them in the upcoming year.
When I began homeschooling my 2 older children back in the mid-90’s, I put together my own method of meshing Biblical and Secular history together, so when I was told about MOH last year to use with my 8 and 10 year old boys, I was thrilled to see that someone else has done the work for me! As I poked around the Bright Ideas website, I found that you sell the History Through the Ages Timelines and again, I was excited to see that I can use these specific timelines AGAIN! I have 3 of these timeline sets that were “new” to me back in the day, so I’ll have to order the last set (America’s History) to finish out the MOH series. And I see that you have Hands-On Geography, which I want to use this year, too! I’ll be ready, set, go, when I get my hands on a MOH V1 and since beggars can’t be choosers, I’d be tickled pink to use the 1st edition of MOH V1! Thanks for having this give-a-way!
My three kids and I are using MOH 1 this year. This site is still fairly new to me. I had heard of the science and history, but not much else. I am interested in a couple of the family guides. I just purchased the coloring sheets and folderbooks from the site Sunday.
I just resently discovered your web sight, and today I discovered your Science Curriculum, and your Study Guides. They both sound wonderful, I think will be checking them out more in the near future!
I didn’t know you also sold science books. I am very excited about MOH, and look forward to using it in 5th grade with my daughter.
Well, I am pretty new to this site, so it wasn’t hard to find something that I didn’t know. 🙂 I didn’t know that you had science. The books look neat. We love science and history around here. I am considering MOH for next year. We are finishing up American History this year. I think that we are going to enjoy studying the ancients.
Thanks!
Angela
Hi,
I have wanted to do MOH1 for at least a year. Here’s my chance! I noticed that you offer All American History. I thought that your catalog would only have world history. I am on the Yahoo Groups and love all the great information everyone shares. Thank you for the opportunity to win this awesome curriculum.
God Bless,
Christine
This is my first time on your site. MOH looks fantastic! This is our family’s 3rd year homeschooling, and you know what I liked the most on your site? The article on a Real Mom’s Homeschool! I am feeling a bit of burn out, and I really needed to read that!
I just found your site. We have been homeschooling for about 8 years and I am really excited about MOH. I did not realize just how much stuff you guys cover on this site.
thanks
Mae
I did not know you sold “A Young Scholar’s Guide to Composers’ or Science books. I’m really liking this site. I’ve must keep looking around. All I knew about was MOH… I see you have SO much more…. this goes in my top 10 list!!!
This will be our first year using MOH. We can’t wait to start! I am very excited about your literature guides. Thank you! Amy
I did not know you sold science books…I thought you all only did History stuff. I also didn’t know that the oldest Hogan boy wrote a book about his military experience. That s neat! Thanks for offering so much to all of us. 🙂
I just heard about MOH and started looking online to find information and found this website. I love the idea of MOH and would love to actually see it. I also love that you have The Ultimate Geography and Timeline Guide available as I believe Geography is very important when learning history. MOH just looks so great!
My dear daughter, Keri, is using MOH1 this year!! She is very excited about this history and discovered today it is coinsides with her Apologia Science..how cool is that??…..She is also teaching you younger brothers history…especially the Bible stories and activities.
I love the new cards…think I may have to pick up some!!
I am new to your site and found you through Timberdoodle. I am so excited to take a closer look at your history line. The All American History and MOH are definitely great options for my boys next year — I just need to make a long-term plan. Your science curriculum is also something I’m going to look into.
