Happy New Year!stacey lane
Wow! I have
survived taught one semester of school this year.
Now I need to get the presents put away and dust off the school books and begin again. Over the break I did throw out some undone projects. I just did not need the visual reminder of projects I did not have time for.
Instead of focusing on what I am not completing I want to look at what I have completed.
Do you have any projects that just need to find a new home?? You have my permission to donate, trash or give them away. (just not to me)
I have learned over the years that I can not do it all.
I can not attend all the great field trips, cook all the themed meals, read all the great novels, make the biggest projects, or attend all the homeschool programs.
Last semester we made it to some great field trips. Which was a much needed relief since I was ill the year before and we had not traveled anywhere. Now that winter is upon us and traveling can be sketchy I want to focus on completing a science fair project. We have not done a science fair in about 4 years, so the time seems right to revisit this. (Feel free to leave any great science fair ideas!)
What goals have you written for this new year?
Do you have any great ideas to get school going after the Christmas break?
