Using Bright Ideas Publications in a Group SettingJenn Hamrick
Have you ever wondered about using Bright Ideas books in a group setting such as a co-op? This video will answer your questions and show you just how easy it is.
Key Points from the Video
The regular copyright for BIP products allows you to make copies from our books or CDs only for your own family. If you are learning with one or more other families, you have two options.
1. Bulk Order
The first option is to place a bulk order so that each student can have a copy of the book being used. We’ll even help you out with that by offering a 30% discount when you buy six or more copies of the same title, all shipped to the same address.
2. Co-op or Classroom License
The second option is to purchase a special group license. A license is best for situations where the teacher is the only one who needs the book or will provide copies of activity pages for the students such as in a co-op or classroom setting.
The cost of this co-op license is two and a half times the retail price of the product. A co-op license can be used for up to 25 students, and we provide you with a spreadsheet to help you keep track of the number of students who use the product.
If you have a large group with more than 25 students, you’ll need to purchase an additional license, which is good for another 25 students.
