HI! I found that the videos play much better when I download them first as a save. If I don’t, they glitch out constantly. Have you tried this yet? I’m no expert! But I do force myself to watch the old episodes. Self critiquing!

HI! They will be cumulative from the entire book all year long. So, it is to your benefit to keep up your reading! In other words, you will find questions from the first quarter on second quarter quizzes. I’m sneaky like that! Sorry for the delay in answering your question. I was struggling to access the forum. Silly me! And I’m the teacher!

HI Josiah! Great job on the satire. Sorry I was late finding it! You clearly earned 20 extra work points for sharing your activity. Hopefully, it will inspire others. We will keep working on sharing. 🙂 See you in class soon! Meanwhile, please don’t jump off a bridge, though you give some compelling reasons! LOL

Wow! Thanks for sharing Josiah. This guy is good! I watched the one on Mansa Musa, because it’s so unusual to find his story!

For any of you who are fans of the royal family, this article discusses what will happen upon the death of Queen Elizabeth II. At the time the article was written, she was 88. She is now 90. This will be “history in the making.”

HI Sarah! I discovered something interesting today. You had me thinking more deeply about your question, and I found out that the Duke of York was in fact the great grandson of Edward III. So, there was a royal lineage to the throne! When he became Lord Protector, it was with the agreement that he would become king upon Henry VI’s death, but of course, the Duke was killed in battle and he never was king.

    Always learning! Linda Hobar

You have to “complete” the current week before you can view the next week’s lesson. Since there was no quiz during Week 0 – Introduction (The Welcome Meeting Week) … all you need to do is go to the bottom of the Week O – Introduction page and click the button “Mark Complete”. Once you have done this, you can click the words “Next Lesson”. That will take you to Week 1 where you will see a Quizzes Box that says “Week 1 Quiz”. Click on that and you can begin the quiz.

HI! Sorry for the delay in responding. I hope by now the forms I created were emailed to you. Remember, there is not a weekly assignment per se (I did not create one for each week). But I did give you a suggested plan for each week. Just plug in the right week at the right time, and you should be good to go. See you tomorrow!!

Great question Sarah! I would say it was “legal” only in the sense that the British Parliament supported it. I do not believe there was a royal bloodline. But then, the same is almost true of Henry Tudor. His connection was distant! See you tomorrow!
